SINMETRO - moving forward
STATISTICS CONTROL IN REAL TIME
In a factory floor level, is crucial to act instantly when any problem is detected. To support these actions, there are tools and systems that alert the operator about nonconforming situations allowing to act according to tendencees and patterns in advance.
In a supervisor level, it is important to monitorize the performance indicators in a simple and effective way.
ACCEPT is a windows based software developed to control the quality of filling lines process in food and beverages factories.
What we have to design was the user flow based on an web approach, creating dashboards and highlighting the main user tasks.
We had some context about how to work with ACCEPT. We had context about the main functions, actions and user preferences. ACCEPT engineers explained how they developed the primary versions of the software and the upgrades after users feedback.
Old and outdated interface
The way those windows pop-up on the screen were not adaptable to a web environment
Need to center the UX design on the end-user
User research is a great part of UX process. We hardly need to study your users and understand their needs, their main goals, their daily tasks.
Understand how our work can improve their productivity and agile their communication.
- Control production line
- Use ACCCEPT to register samples

- Analyse data entries
- Analyse graph data values
- Identify products and lots
- Export data documents
- Write reports
- Analyse ACCEPT dashboard and export reports about every production lines
- Manage processes
Start by understanding the software funtionalities and mark the most used.
Than we designed mockups with information hierarchy and blocks for various types of content.
Giving style and colors to the interface previously constructed. The joyful part.
BRING IT ALL TOGETHER
Turn all the user interface in html blocks with responsive media queries was our last phase in this project.
